As gay people, what do we share?

Commonly, I think there's an aesthetic appreciation --- Oscar Wilde being our vocal torch bearer. Perhaps the aesthetic is innate in us, it might be part of the gene. If it is in fact nature that defined our sexual orientation.

Anyway, I worry about what that aesthetic appreciation does to me. Does it cause unconscious judgment? Rude behavior? Caddyness?

I thought about this as I looked at myself this morning, examining lines, hair, and my fingernails.
